We always provide assistance to earn sustained income to support themselves as well as their dependent to the displaced people who are resettled back in their places.

We provide Chicken hut, sawing machine, farming tools to resettled people in Sri Lanka.

The project to help them will begin in the beginning of next month to Mulklaithive and Mulliya Vaykkal area.

We, RWF – Rural women forum, have organized awareness program to the families headed by woman on Birth, death and property law, physiological, human rights and Violent against women.

During the 30 years long civil war, these families displaced many times and are prone to violent. Many of them are not aware of the Birth, Death and property law. It is utmost important to educate these women on such laws to keep them safe from misuse or fraud.

There were 30 participant at this session who benefited greatly by this program. The session was held from May 30th to June 1, 2011.

  • Property law speech was given by the Mr. Regi Alosias, registrar of property, Kilinochchi district.
  • Human Rights speech was given by Mr. Kapilnath, program coordinator, Human Rights, Vavuniya.
  • Physiological information was given by Mr. Pushpakanthan, Professor, Vavuniya University.
  • Violent against women speech was given by Mr. Lenin, lawyer, Vavuniya.

We have launched a news paper titled “Children News” in Tamil language to inform the public of the current situation regarding the programs undertaken by CFCD children. This monthly newspaper is scheduled to be published on 15th of every month and issued free of charge.

We encourage the readers to understand the status of these kids and contribute in form of stories, poets, arts etc. which could boost these young readers.
